Entry Requirements
For both local and foreign students, the following are the entry requirements for programs of study:
- WASSCE/SSCE: Candidates must have earned credit passes in six (6) subjects and a 36/24 total average in the WASSCE or SSSCE, respectively.
- English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies should make up three of the six subjects, and three of the subjects must be pertinent electives. A credit pass in is used for entrance if:
- A1 to C6 are represented by WASSCE.
- SSSCE is equivalent to grades A through D.
- English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies should make up three of the six subjects, and three of the subjects must be pertinent electives. A credit pass in is used for entrance if:
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level: In addition to earning credit in five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level courses (including English and Mathematics), applicants should have earned three (3) Advanced Level passes in the pertinent areas.
- General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE): Applications must be submitted by candidates who have earned credit passes (A-D) in six (6) disciplines, including three (3) core subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) and three (3) pertinent electives.
- Exams for the 12th grade in American high schools. Candidates must have a final grade point average of 3.0.
NB: Candidates for the B. Ed. in Physical Education with SSSCE or WASSCE need to keep themselves prepared for a practical exam. This examination’s date will be announced in due course.
