One of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2021 finalist from Keta Senior High/Technical School (KETASCO), Francisca Lamini, is in the news again for her excellent academic records in the University.
Francisca Lamini, one of the three contestants from KETASCO to make it to the 2021 NSMQ, got admission to the Harvard University after her sterling performance en route to the finals impressed a lot of benefactors.
Although KETASCO lost in the finals to Prempeh College, Francisca was spotted by many as she was the only female to make it to the NSMQ finals after many years of female absence.
This was also complemented with her final examination results with straight A’s in her West African Senior High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Francisca Lamini’s Harvard Journey
She was consequently rewarded for her brilliance and was aided by Afex Hub, an academic institution that prepares students to apply for college abroad, to gain admission to one of the most reputable universities in the world, Harvard University.
Francisca began her schooling abroad for Pre-Med degree at the Cambridge-based University in the United Kingdom.
With the help of sponsors and benefactors, she secured fully sponsored admission to four universities and opted for Harvard University.
She later posted her first picture at the University to thank all her well-wishers.
It is of no surprise that her academic results in the university spells excellence as she aced all her four courses.
Her trending academic results shows four courses; Calculus, Introduction to Expository Writing, French and Foundational Chemistry and Biology of which she had a grade of ‘A’ in all courses which gives her a Cumulative GPA of 4.0.
If there was any doubt in people’s mind of her academics, surely this is enough proof that her performance in the WASCCE wasn’t a fluke.
